The War On Terrorism

Most often, people go to war in response to an attack. Then again, people have been known to go to war in proven anticipation of an attack. The latter is what churchmen are negatively voicing – a pre-emptive attack on Iraq by George Bush and the United States military as immoral. What the churchmen believe is that the United States should "let them do it to us before we do it to them." That’s lacking judgment, especially when it comes to dealing with a monster such as Saddam Hussein.

The war on terrorism doesn’t end with going after the 9/11 perpetrators. Terrorism is world-wide and believed to be supported by heads of states such as Saddam Hussein of Iraq, Qadhafi of Lybia, al-Bashir of Sudan, Lahud of Lebanon, al-Asad of Syria, Kim Jong-il of North Korea, and Khamenei of Iran. At least three of these countries are believed to have chemical and biological weapons, and they have, or are near, to having nuclear weapons. With the despots heading up these countries, this is clearly a threat to their neighbors and to the West. These despots are also believed to be supporters of other terror groups who exist to destabilize governments, put fear in religious groups other than Islam, and fear in the people of the western world. This is terrorism – it’s devilish, and no one can make deals with the devil because devils can never be trusted. Good examples of lying despots are Saddam Hussein and his broken word over the last 10 or 11 years; Kim Jong-il of North Korea, whom it was recently revealed that he admitted to the United States that he has been developing nuclear weapons secretly. Remember, in 1994, Kim Jong-il agreed to halt the nuclear program in return for lightwater reactors. If they will lie, and they will, at the drop of a hat, then they will release their destruction for little or no reason at all.

Saddam Hussein Of Iraq

He was born on April 28, 1937 and is now 65-1/2 years of age. His wife is his cousin and has stood by him during his 23 years as the world’s most hated Arab leader. When Saddam came to power as President of Iraq in July 1979, he started out murdering his rivals and graduated to killing the Kurds in northern Iraq with chemical weapons. Since that, he has made himself Prime Minister of Iraq (May 29, 1994).

Saddam Hussein is a problem in the Arab world but the Arab world will never come out and say it without blinking an eye. Arabs have not in the past, and seemingly no time soon, will speak openly about any problem from within their world because they always want to appear as a perfectly cohesively group of people with no ills. (The rest of the world knows that if people don’t acknowledge that they have a problem, it never-ever gets resolved. Thus, no growth – still left behind in the eighth century mode of thinking while driving around in 21st century automobiles.) Consequently, there is this soul-tie, this blood-bonding, between Saddam Hussein and the rest of the Arab world in spite of their fear and hatred toward the him. Saddam Hussein is feared by the cowardice Arab nations because they know that he is a savage dictator who threatens the whole of the Middle East. Imagine that, demons fearing each other, but yet bound to each other. (That’s the way it is in Satan’s kingdom.)

Saddam Hussein is one who…

"…device iniquity, and work evil upon their [his] bed! when the morning is light, they [he] practice it, because it is in the power of their [his] hand" (Micah 2:1).

He has taken control of the people of that country, by violence, thus resultant in fear in the lives of every man, woman, and child – fear of loosing their lives. The same goes for Iraq’s neighboring countries – afraid!

Saddam Hussein is a beast. He is a wound that is incurable. Not only is he the ruthless and aggressive dictator of Iraq, but he is the Grim Reaper personified. He….

  • has weapons of mass destruction

  • has used chemical weapons on his own people

  • briefly took over the small country of Kuwait, his neighbor

  • has defied the United Nations resolutions

  • has deceived the UN weapons inspectors with delay tactics while moving his weapons (nuclear, chemical and biological) from place to place out of their sight

  • supports terrorism

  • shelters terrorists

  • hates America and the West with a pink passion

  • murders those in opposition to him

  • continues to give money to the families of Palestinian homicide bombers as a way of supporting their Intafada against Israel

  • Without a doubt, Saddam Hussein hears voices and he sees monkeys that no one else in the room can hear nor see. No, he’s not "crazy" because of these unseen happenings about him, but he is "demon possessed." A demon-possessed person such as Saddam Hussein cannot be allowed to hold the whole world hostage with the threat of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons being used against them, including America.

    The Iraqi People

Iraq is a country of oppressed people – people who are deprived of their basic economic and material needs for maintaining a productive life in that country, and this is injustice. Injustice, however, is a sin of comission or omission, but in the case of Iraq, it is comission. Comission in that the dictator eagerly increases his power in the Middle East and the world by building up his nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. At the same time, while ignoring the United Nations resolutions, sanctions are imposed against them and the people suffer. Do the Iraqi people deserve this?

Sad to say, but the Iraqi people have the leader that they have because he is the leader they deserve to have, and yes, they are deserving of this at this time. Why so, you ask? The answer is simple: their iniquities and their sins have kept the good things from them because they have overlooked the evil deeds of that country prior to Saddam Hussein coming to power. It’s not just that, but the religion they have chosen as well. I will even go so far as to say how they outright murdered 20th century Jews, who were left behind in Iraq from the Babylonian captivity. This oppression of the Iraqi people didn’t happen because Suddam Hussein overpowered the people, but it happened because God allowed it to happen. These are not innocent people that this is happening to.

God stands on the defensive for all of the oppressed of the earth, and He is the source of justice.

"The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6).

However, the leadership of every country on this earth is God’s conduit of justice for its citizens. This is for all in leadership, whether they be Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, or nothing at all. If the people are deprived or there is no fairness, it’s the fault of the Leader as well as the people – Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi people. Their lives have to be turned around before they see genuine justice or total freedom from oppression. (Where are the Preachers when they’re needed? You will next be shown where they are.)

Their Hatred For America Seen As Just By Some Church Leaders

It’s quite evident that one of the two most senior churchmen in Great Britain (Eamon Duffy, President of the Catholic Theological Association) believes that lack of certain freedoms and prosperity in the Arab world is justification for their radicalism and hatred for the West. Dr. Duffy is quoted as saying:

"If the democratic West is to retain moral credibility and if we are to avoid a murderous confrontation with an Islamic world radicalized by poverty and resentment of Western imperialism, then we have to move beyond defending our interest and punishing our enemies. We need to demonstrate our desire to share the freedoms and prosperities we enjoy with the world’s poor" ("Church Leaders Speak Against ‘Wicked’ War" by Ruth Gledhill and Phillip Webster. London Times online, September 5, 2002).

First of all, if those in the Islamic world are so connected to each other through their religion whereby they can do no wrong, there should be no poverty in any of their countries because of the wealth in the oil producing countries being shared amongst all. They all stick together like "white on rice" when it comes to going against those outside Islam, especially when an outsider goes against one of their own. So why isn’t the oil wealth shared amongst conjoin-at-the-chest Arab countries. (Gulf War was the exception. They broke the bond because one Arab nation was being overtaken by another Arab nation – Saddam Hussein the invader.)

If the Islamic world is radicalized because of poverty and resentment of western imperialism, which is not the case, then why are they not radicalized against their own oil-rich brethrens who don’t send a check every month to each and every unemployed Muslim? It would be futile for the Western world to demonstrate their desire to share their freedoms and prosperities with them because that will never change the deep-seated hatred in their hearts toward Westerners. That hatred is INGRAINED. Why is this, you wonder? Simple answer: it stems from the religion of Islam. They associate the West with Christianity, and teach that Christians are infidels. It matters not what the West does or says, the Muslim world, deep-down, always has and always will hate them until they become Muslim nations, and that will never be. Their hatred for America and the rest of the West is innate – it’s inborn from having been infused with religion – Islam, that is. If The Church doesn’t understand this, then they are not The Church.

These members of the World Council of Churches are against a military confrontation between the United States and Iraq. The so-called peacemakers are:

    Anglican Church of Canada
    United Church of Canada
    Baptist Union of Great Britain
    United Methodist Church, USA
National Council of Churches of Christ in the USA

These church leaders are against a larger nation, such as the United States, going against a smaller nation, even if the leader is a cockroach. Iraq may be a small nation population-wise and geographically, but Iraq is as large as the United States in terms of weapons of mass destruction, even though they likely have a small arsenal, but large in the sense of deadly destruction. These religious coxcombs believe that attacking Iraq would worsen the already suffering lives of the Iraqi people. As so-called Christians, they should be wondering about the sin in the Iraqi people that brought them to this oppressive condition under such a leader in the first place.

These so-called church leaders go so far as to say that the Iraqi matter should be dealt with by the United Nations and that the United States needs approval from the United Nations. "Now, if that don’t beat all." How one-world government can these people be! It’s unbelievable – so-called Christian church leaders pushing the UN agenda in preparation for the anti-Christ to come on the scene. (Woe unto the people that sit under those ministries each week. They think they are getting fed the Word of God when they are instead being fed syrupy poison straight from hell.)

It’s left-winged political dogma rather than Biblical teachings that has these liberal coxcombs (mainline denominations) so dead set against the United States and friends attacking. An outsider – one who is outside the Church of Jesus Christ, had this to say about those so-called Christians in the mainline denominations:

"Let’s also compare the evangelicals to the open’ and ‘tolerant’ Protestant Christian denominations as represented by the National Council of Churches. We find moral confusion, anti-Americanism and support for those who wish another Jewish genocide" ("A Jew Defends Evangelical Christians" by Dennis Prager, Jewish World Review, October 24, 2002).

Bulls-eye! It’s this group that doesn’t want a pre-emptive strike against Saddam Hussein; they support the Palestinians in their evil but feeble attempt to drive the Israelis into the Mediterranean Sea. These church leaders are the immoral ones, not those who want to attack Iraq if they don’t give up their weapons of mass destruction. These fellows are shouting the loudest that the Bush Administration’s intent to war against Iraq is unjust and immoral. How more of a just cause could there be than not wanting to see Saddam get his neighbors, or get the West, before they get him. These people are not The Church of Jesus Christ.

There is another bunch of so-called Christians, supposedly Holy Ghost filled (unlike the aforesaid group that have no Holy Ghost in them), who also want to see Saddam Hussein left alone. This is that bunch of Charismatics – the counterfactual Charismatic prophets, and I say "counterfactual" because they say "God said" when in fact God hasn’t said one word to any of them. These "falsies" are people such as Paul Cain, John Jackson, Mike Bickle, Steve Shult, Graham Cooke, Rick Joyner, to name a few. (Read: "Today’s Prophets Make Room For Lies" at http://www.scarlet-to-snow.com/info20.htm) Here is just a bit of what they have had to say:

Steve Shultz: "The president [Bush] is ‘a man that has proven he will listen to godly counsel.’ Pray that this will be one of those times he will closely listen" ("Prophetic Ministers Warn Against War With Iraq" by Andy Butcher. Charisma Online, September 25, 2002).

Paul Cain: "I’ve been there to see the gentleman that our President [Bush] doesn’t call a gentleman. But he is a very interesting man, and I want you to start praying that we won’t start cowboy and Indians here and get some negotiations going. We need to try some diplomacy here before we do anything else" (The Elijah List, posted September 24, 2002).

Graham Cooke: "…one thing he [Saddam Hussein] has done in his country – he has allowed Christians to proselytize.

"…that once he [Saddam Hussein] gets killed there will be a bloodbath in that nation, and every Christian in that nation will likely be killed because they are on somebody’s list right now.

"We need to pray for Saddam Hussein right now. No matter what you think about it, this guy is the only one standing between the church in Iran and Iraq and a bloodbath…We need that guy alive because thousands upon thousands of people are getting saved in the country. There is a move of God there" ("Prophetic Ministers Warn Against War With Iraq" by Andy Butcher. Charisma Online, September 25, 2002).

Christian bloodbath if Saddam is gone! Move of God in Iraq! If there is a move of God in Iraq, it won’t matter if Saddam Hussein is dead. Nothing or no one can stop a move of God. Is there really a move of God in Iraq? I don’t think so! If there is a move of God in Iraq, why aren’t these Born Again, Spirit-filled Christians, in Holy Ghost boldness taking a stand? They are not because they are nominal Christians just like the rest of the Arab Christians, and most Christians throughout the world. True Christians are so few, so few. (For more on nominal Christians, read: "Today’s Persecuted Christians Are Pseudo-Christians" at http://www.scarlet-to-snow.com/aa8.htm and "Should Christians Support Palestinian Christians And The Palestinian Cause" at http://www.scarlet-to-snow.com/aa3.htm) These people are not the True Church of Jesus Christ.

    Conclusion

No country or people escape the fierce anger of The Lord without their peaceable habitations being cut down around them. When The Lord’s anger is aroused, it is due to iniquity and sin, and that is the case with all of those Arab countries with despotic leadership, more in particular, Iraq.

Why haven’t the Christian ministers been given a real word, a real dream, or a real vision from God to go on a "Jonah-The-Prophet" mission telling Saddam Hussein to change his wicked ways or reap the consequences? Why aren’t the preacher-peacemakers going to Saddam, who is the real threat, and putting pressure on him to cease lying and give up his weapons of mass destruction instead of putting pressure on the President of the United States to wait until the enemy, Saddam attacks, before he does anything.

Mexico nor Canada fear the United States will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against them because there is no dictator at the head of the government making the lone decision to do so. Sad to say, that is not the case for Saddam Hussein’s Middle Eastern neighbors. Iran and Kuwait never expected this Devil to enter their sovereign lands in an attempt to take over, but he did. So, do you sit back and wait for this despotic maggot to attack with deadly bacteria – attack with nuclear weapons. No you don’t. The destruction from the attacker, disables the attacked to counter-attack so that it is a just war. To wait for the madman to attack is suicide!

In June 1981, Menachem Begin, Prime Minister of Israel, did not wait for Saddam Hussein to hit them with nuclear weapons before they took out the Osirak reactor that was being built with the help of France and Italy. The Israelis knew that the Beelzubud personality of Saddam Hussein would have used that as a final solution for the Jewish state’s demise, and they were not going to chance it. What did Israel do? Pre-emptively stuck Iraq, taking out their Osirak reactor. Amen! Israel still exists.

The preachers, the religious coxcombs, see that an attack on Iraq is not "just" because

  • There is insufficient evidence showing Iraq’s involvement in September 11th and that the Iraqi government back terrorist organizations

  • Military action is reckless

  • Priority should be on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

  • The U.S. is attacking the sovereign state of Iraq under the pretext of "war on terrorism"

  • Oppose more powerful nations going against weaker nations such as Iraq.

  • Shut-up and sit down you preachers! You’ve had a job to do but you’ve failed. Your prayers are not heard by God! You haven’t gone to Saddam Hussein to persuade him to change his ways; to accept Jesus as His Lord and Savior! You preachers! Arise, go to Baghdad and cry against Saddam Hussein, for his evilness is come up before The Lord.

Yes, that’s what you preachers should be doing instead of hiding behind the cloak of declaring war against the despot as being an unjust war. Just like Jonah fled, this is your way of feeling from (1) telling Saddam that he’s evil and that he must change his evil ways by acknowledging that he has weapons of mass destruction, and that he should allow them to be destroyed. (2) telling Saddam that he must cease the threat of death over his people if they don’t idolize him. (3) telling Saddam Hussein that he must give up Islam and become Born Again. Oh, no, you won’t dare do that, even though your mission as church leaders is to go throughout the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, even to Saddam Hussein. Don’t just flee from telling Saddam that, but tell the whole of the Iraqi people.

You liberal preachers have fled from the presence of The Lord because you don’t have spiritual guts enough to "tell it like it is" to Saddam Hussein to save his skin and that of the Iraqi people. Saving his skin would be saving his soul, but that’s too much like the Gospel of Jesus Christ and you liberal preachers don’t want anything to do with that.

Interjection: Neither the mainline religious coxcombs or the Charismatic false prophets ever stopped to think about the rattling of the sabers as being birth pains upon the earth during the end time. Regardless of what they believe, these are end time, and because they are, something must happen to Israel’s best friend and seemingly only ally (the U.S.) to prevent her from going to aid Israel when the Arabs and company begin to converge upon Israel for the Ezekiel 38 war. By the United States going to war against Iraq or even one of the other despotic-led countries, she may be retaliated against with nuclear, chemical or biological weapons resulting in many deaths and economic collapse. With America out of the way – licking her wounds – Israel, going it alone in the battle against the Arabs, will give God the opportunity to show His hand supernaturally on Israel’s behalf and get the glory as The God of Israel – the True God who doesn’t speak differently in the Koran from what He first spoke in The Bible. Amen!

If warring against Iraq will cause destabilization in the Middle East, then so be it. It is about time the Middle East had its walls fall down so that True Christianity can enter in with the True Gospel of Jesus Christ before the start of the Great Tribulation and the return of Jesus Christ. The great war cloud is upon Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi people, and yet these preachers – church leaders, think that by being in opposition to President Bush’s intent to bring down the Iraqi government, along with its weapons of mass destruction, is calming the storm of war. Well, it’s not! It’s coming to Saddam Hussein, one way or another. It’s coming.

After all, the United States was struck by terrorists on September 11, 2001, after which she declared war on terror, and all organizations and nations that are in league with terrorist. This means Saddam Hussein and Iraq are the enemy in which this country is in opposition to. Being that this is not a Christian nation, the church leaders don’t have the last say on the matter. You’ve got to trust the man that is in office whom you believe to be a Christian, and who is supposedly prayerful and reads his Bible daily. Believing that or not, why work against him with your political views in place of the Word of God. Almighty God is responsible for George Bush being the head of the United States government. No one else was going to get that job but him, and he didn’t steal that position due to the Florida voting "mess." Bush is in the position, so trust him to do the job.

Should the United States go to war against Iraq without just cause, the United States is going to get her just due for carrying out that order of judgment if Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction; and if Iraq is not partly responsible for the terrorists acts perpetrated against the United States on September 11, 2001. No matter what,

Saddam Hussein will get the portion of his cup – one way or another. He will get it because God hates wicked people such as he who loves violence. Yes, you read that right. God hates Saddam Hussein and there you are trying to protect him.

The church leaders’ position in this matter is apostasy!

NOTE: The writer isn’t saying she is for war against Saddam Hussein; the writer really doesn’t care. My thoughts are about The Lord, His work, the apostasy in The Church, and the lost souls that are to be reeled into The Body of Christ before Jesus returns.
