The Feeble-Kneed Church Needs Revival

“Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, least that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed” (Hebrews 12:12-13).
The Church of Jesus Christ is decrepit. She is frail. She is
ineffective. Through the many years of a spiraling-downward form of
Christianity, she is now broken down and badly in need of renewal. The
Church needs renewal because she is morally bankrupt and is not fulfilling
the Great Commission. She can’t fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew
28:18-20) – she’s just to weak.
Feeble
knees are knees that have no strength in them. Spiritually, one with feeble
knees has not a perfect heart for God. Feeble knees give evidence of one
who…
- does not fear/reverence the Lord
- does not walk in His Word/truths
- does not put the Lord before things and people
- does not willingly serve the Lord
- does not behave wisely before the Lord
You,
Church of Jesus Christ, you have feeble knees – you are weak – you have
fallen. You have fallen because you don’t have the spiritual strength of
the Lord whom you have forsaken. Innocent people don’t get feeble knees.
You’re not innocent of the charges brought against you – a church in apostasy.
You are lame.
You have not a perfect heart before the Lord. Church of Jesus Christ,
you have already turned out of the way. You are departed from the true
teachings of Jesus Christ as you have polluted them. You have accepted
and now walk in this polluted way of today’s Christianity because you somehow
justify it by believing that you’re living in an era totally different from
2000-plus years ago when Jesus spoke to His Church. You now think that you
have to bring Christianity up-to-speed with this present era by incorporating
worldly rudiments into the Church; by taking those elements and attempting to
sanctify them for the Lord, and that can’t be done.
Thus, you have a polluted Christianity made up of followers who have turned out
of the way. The Gospel can’t be mixed up with anything. The Gospel
needs no seasoning on it to make it appealing or appetizing whereby people
(their flesh) will understand it. Polluting the Gospel of Jesus with
gimmicks and worldly elements does not make it an effective way of spreading
it so that all can understand; it does, though, make you people in the Church
become weak-kneed – turned out of the way of Jesus Christ because you’re weary
of living according to His Word.
The Polls Have Spoken Against You
In these United States of America there are 281 million people, and according to the Barna Research Group,
“Nearly 100 million Americans live without a connection to a church, Synagogue or temple” (“Fewer Americans In Church” by Julia Duin. The Washington Times online, April 11, 2002).
The Barna Research Group was also cited in this article that people who skip church do so because of
“…hypocrispy [in the Church], inflexible beliefs or a non-compelling message from the pulpit” (Ibid.).
This
evidence shows all the more that the church is feeble-kneed; she is
ineffective and people are not drawn to her – not even out of curiosity.
People who are genuinely searching for the True God want the truth and it’s
not found in today’s Christianity – the Church. (The lost people who need
Jesus are laughing at the Church, especially at its representation on
so-called Christian television.)
Church, these feeble knees that you have are not incurable. If it seem
as though they can’t be healed – can’t be strengthened, that’s a lie.
You can be healed! You can be restored! You can be renewed. You
can once again be put on the straight and narrow path of righteousness and
holiness that Christ set before you and no one else can cure your feeble
knees but Him. Remember, He needs you. He needs you for the end
time revival of this lost generation, but how can He send you after the
world, if you’re not on the right path yourself? That’s why there is no
revival in the land in spite of what these false prophets keep spewing out.
There is no revival and will not be until the Church of Jesus Christ is
strengthened – no longer walking around with her hands dropped down;
feeble-knees – turned away from God.
Surely you
must remember that God hears from Heaven. Moreover, you must remember He
is full of compassion, loving kindness, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Remembering that and even though you’re in your own strength, call out to Him
to convict your spirit heavily of all the wrong that is in your walk with Him.
Call out to Him to direct you back onto the straight and narrow path that He
set before you. He will not forsake you and will make haste to heal your
feeble knees because He needs you for kingdom work – end time revival of this
lost generation.
Your Chastisement Is At The Door
The sin that has so easily infested the Church of Jesus Christ is that of spiritual weariness – tire of doing right by the Lord God most holy. Yes, the Church has lost patience in adhering to God’s ways and making Him first and far most in their lives. Church, you have tired from running the race on the path of faith where patience does her perfect work in producing holy perfection in the lives of the Saints. You are a lame sacrifice – despising God’s holiness.
“Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD” (Malachi 1:13).
Church of Jesus Christ, He has already been patient with you for 2,000-plus
years that you have ventured off the path that He set before you. The
Lord God is grieved by you, His so-called Church, because of the error in your
heart of shoving aside His true ways. How can He send you after the
world to point them to salvation when you’re strayed from the beaten path of
righteousness and holiness? The heart of the Church is not right with
the Lord. You’re at the point of death because you’re not adhering to
the covenant between the two of you. Why?
Church you
are foolish! You are foolish because there is no soundness in the Christianity
that you’re practicing. You cannot see that you’re feeble and broken
down – and at the point of death. The light is gone from you. It
went little-by-little ‘til there is none left. Yes, you may argue that
there is nothing wrong with you, and you are sincere in your argument.
The reason you’re so sincere in your strong argument against you being
feeble-kneed and at the point of death is because the light is gone from you
and you have no discernment. In your weakness, not only are you
spiritually blind, but you’re spiritually deaf as well. You are between
a rock and a hard place – can’t see God in your life; can’t hear God speaking
in your life. You are without God. You are operating in your own
strength. You are in sin and the stripes of affliction await you.
Yes, real good chastening is what you now need.
You, Church,
have continued on in your trespasses against God and now He is about to wound
you as though you are His enemy. He is getting ready to chasten you dear
Church, so don’t accuse or curse the Devil for coming against you, for he’s
only doing his job. When the Lord lays the stripes of affliction on your back,
recognize them for what they are. Bear it, and don’t see it just as the
enemy coming against you because you’re a child of God; and don’t even think
about getting angry at God, either.
“…despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth…” (Proverb 3:11-12; Hebrews 12:6).
Even though He chastens for sin such as yours, His hands will make you whole if you will allow Him.
In Conclusion
If the Church of Jesus Christ had a perfect heart before the Lord, she would not have her hands dropped down and would be walking upright with strength in her knees. It cannot be said enough that world revival cannot come until the Church herself repents and is healed – made strong after being set on the straight and narrow path. To go the straight path is to travel the path of God’s Commandments/His Word/His High Holy Standard where you in turn find pleasure in your life in Christ Jesus.
“Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight” (Psalm 119:35).
God’s
Commandments have not been nailed to the cross. They are still in effect
because they are a narrowed-down version of all His Word, the Bible, of all He
has to say to mankind. Church, you cannot despise this path but must
instead hunger and thirst for it. Once this is done, the Lord God will
show Himself strong in you, His Church, and world-wide revival will be brought
on.
The Lord is
saying to His Church, even though you have gone after vain things that have
not spiritually profited you, nor delivered you, nor brought revival in the
land, now is the time to turn aside from your perverse heart and turn back to
me with all your heart. He wants you to genuinely repent and follow the
way that He has laid before you. He wants you to make Him your trust and He
will forgive you, heal you, strengthen you, and make the crooked path before
you straight as you walk in the way of True Christianity.
The Lord
wants to heal His Church, but He won’t heal you simply because you humble
yourself by calling out to Him or praying to Him for revival in the church and
in the land. There is a method to getting God to answer with healing and
deliverance from your sin.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
The church is good at humbling herself and crying out in prayer for God to bring
revival – which, incidentally has not come. All appearing today as
revival, or healing of the soul in the Church, is not revival. God is not
in it and it is therefore not genuine renewal. It is not so and partly
because the Church herself has not sincerely sought God’s face with every fiber
of her being while letting go of all the pollutants in her.
When the
Church seeks God’s face with every fiber of her being, she can’t help but turn
from her wicked ways. She will want more than ever to walk in His Word –
in righteousness and holiness – in an unpolluted walk. The Church will no
longer walk in an apostate condition. She will no longer see the below
short-list of pollutants/sins as being nothing when they are such an intricate part of her
brand of Christianity:

Those of you who have made up your minds to repent of the apostate acts in the Church, and allow the Lord Jesus to heal you, in the end you will say…
“O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou has healed me. O Lord, thou has brought up my soul from the grave [sin/death]: thou has kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit [eternal damnation]” (Psalm 30:2-3).
Those of you who feel you have nothing to be healed of, you’re fooling yourselves. You have no shame of your polluted brand of Christianity. By having no shame, you have what the Scripture calls the forehead of a whore. You have the forehead of a whore because you have refused to be ashamed – you love what you’re doing. For you, there is no latter rain (Jeremiah 3:3). Those of you who have no shame will not seek God for the right way to walk in Christianity, and the Lord will let you go on in the way of your froward heart – feeble-kneed, with your hands hanging down and no longer at the point of death, but dead.
